| Action plan for childhood obesity in Cyprus Action plan for child obesity CYPRUS IS in need of a specific policy to fight obesity among adults and children, which has taken on serious dimensions according to a European programme aimed at setting a pan-European precautionary policy.
The European PorGrow programme’s measures include an improvement of information and education regarding food, nutrition, health and exercise, better control over advertising, a regulation of food sales and supply, and an increase in exercise.
