| Super super proud of myself..... Ok well another member showed me this calorie counting site. I have been using it. I have slipped up here and there with dinners as you can see. but overall I am proud of myself for eating so good so far......
What do you guys think???????????
Now today I have only eaten breakfast and lunch. Tonight is salmon and salad.
Now remember I am 5 feet tall and weight 135 lbs. I want to get down to 120.

| Re: Super super proud of myself..... The calories aren't necessarily as important as the percentages. If you are eating that much fat with that low of calories you're going to feel like you're starving to death eventually. Adjust the percentages so that you're more at a 40/40/20 range and you'll find that you'll be eating a ton more food.
The fat you are eating should come from good natural resources such as almonds, all natural peanut butter, salmon etc.
Can you post a breakdown of the meals from a couple of the days?
Mike

The only things I would say are that if you only ate 320calories on 8/1, that's too little, and you should up your protein.....a lot.
Calorie wise you look good on average...
Great job so far!

I'm assuming that the 1st didn't represent a full day, otherwise I'd second OD's point that it's too low an intake. Also it might be best to try not to get into a habit of going under 1000 calories a day. If your nutrition is balanced then it probably won't matter doing it occasionally (and we all have those odd days when we just don't have much of an appetite). Also it's best not to let days when you slip up get you down, the odd day of bad nutrition won't really affect your overall goal. The danger lies with having that day off become a weekend off become a week off become a month etc.
Only speaking from my own experience of coure.

| Re: Super super proud of myself..... I agree. Thanks. You are right the 1st was only through lunch. NOT dinner and such. I think I am doing pretty good. I seem to get an A every day.
I tried the URL link....it does not work cause I have to be logged in.

Since we don't have a tool on this site to give the same functionality.
Make sure to look at the protein vs carbs vs fat percentages.

Well again I am trying my best. It seems that I keep going about 48% fat and such. Tonight I think we are having chicken not real sure though. I get to clean all day so that will burn some calories. LOL
I had chicken, salad, yogurt, beef jerky, burger pattie, salad all day. Oh and almonds.
I was pretty hungry yesterday around 5 pm what do you think that is about?

mmmmmmmm, cheese :drool2: That's one of my vices.
I do my best to only get low fat cheeses though. I love fresh mozzarella, which lucky for me tends to be one of the healthiest cheeses out there (fat wise). I snack on those and string cheese a lot to get my cheese fix.

Very good for you! | Frigo makes a light string cheese which is what I get. Still tastes good and is super low in fat! I think only 2.5g of fat and 60 calories per serving! It does not get better than that!
