| So is there any real way to make your body smaller? Ok this may be a question that only us girls would know about. I would love to get rid of some unwanted baggage behind me. LOL But know that with my luck I will be able to tone it up but not get rid of it. My main problem and focus is my butt and my thighs. Would love to shrink them both. LOL

LOL | It's tough to fight genetics, and those two areas are most womens' problem areas. There are some exercises you can do to target the muscles in that area which may firm things up, which include squats, lunges, straight legged deadlifts (to hit the hammies), leg press with your feet higher up (again to hit the hammies), and hip abductor and adductor exercise. There's a few more that will do the trick, but you get the idea.

| Re: So is there any real way to make your body smaller? Right I do know that. But honestly I don't know where mine came from. LOL I have to count my blessing that I am the smallest in my family. I think some of it has to do with my sway back. Dang it!!!!

| Re: So is there any real way to make your body smaller? It does seem that alot women seem to have a butt/theigh problem. I persoanally have no butt, though I would like to know how to make it not so flat? can lunges and squats do that or is it whole different ball game on making a butt not look so flat and flabby?
Also, to add to women related issues I guess, I had a c-section 7 yrs ago and was told that the lower abs will be weaker, and it would be harder to get rid of a pouch. Now I no longer have a pouch, i have a big round belly LOL but I'm hoping that when I get my weight down lower that the pouch doesn't reappear (I think it will though if the muscle is harder to workout like I was told). How can you make a weakened muscle stronger and lean again?

Fat tends to remove the appearance of curves. Quote:

Doing ab exercises doesn't make abs all of a sudden appear, contrary to what many might think. It's really the fat loss that helps more than anything. That being said, you will want to do lower ab exercises to streghten this area. There are plenty of women who have had C-sections who were then able to get very tone flat stomachs from good ab workouts and weight loss.
