| Nuts I really like to eat nuts and I have heard that nuts contain lots of protein. I know that you should eat many proteins and not too many carbohydrates at night because that activates your body to burn fat. So do you think that it would be okay to eat only nuts at night? |

| Re: Nuts You can eat nuts whenever you want, but consider eating them in moderation.....they're very high in calories, however they contain not only protein, but depending on the nuts, some fiber and good fats.

| Re: Nuts Thanks for you quick response. I know that nuts have quite a lot of calories, but I thought that it is very healthy to eat them because they have to many proteins. Or do you know any other products which are very high on proteins except of eggs of course? |

| Re: Nuts For protein try fish, lobster, crab, chicken, protein shakes, protein bars, cheese (low fat and in moderation), milk, some soy products, lean red meat (I use 4% fat lean ground beef, lean ham or lean steaks), turkey, etc. For snacks I also chew on sunflower seeds (in moderation), beef jerky and chicken jerky.

| Re: Nuts Thanks a lot! But acutally since I have been doing my diet I try to avoid meat as much as I can. And I try to eat only proteins in the evening and no carbohydrates. But this is very difficult sometimes-especially if you don't want to eat the same stuff ever night. So I guess I have to stick to salat, yogurt and cheese then, right? Or do you know any other good vegetarian meal which it low on carbohydrates? |

I will admit I dont know much about a vegetarian meal plan. I love meat to much to go without it lol.

| Re: Nuts Yeah I am still eating eggs. I know that they have lots of proteins and so I don't want to do without them. I bought a cookery book about meals with eggs. The book is great and I have already found many tasty recipes in there. So I would say that I have found a quite good variety of products which I am allowed to eat in the evening. Thanks for your help! |

You can eat all the veggies you want. Celery and peanut butter is something else I snack on at night. What about cottage cheese? Beans? Soy products? Those might be some other options as well.
