im losing :)

Talking im losing :)

ok well...ive been watching my calories (aiming for 1000-1200 per day)...and powerwalking 4-8miles a day at the lake...and ive been losing some lbs! yey. the "diet" which doesnt even seem like a diet because i actually enjoy the food im eating...consists of.....egg whites, turkey, pickles, flavored rice cakes, raw green peppers dipped in roasted garlic hummus or mango salsa..frozen vegetables...shrimp, fish or pork on the forman grill (i cant cook)...and my quick fixes when im on the run are slim fast optima shakes or wendys chili (sooo good, filling, and about 200 cals for the small size..great as a lunch!)im not sure why but this is just goin well for me...im sure ill hit my goal...maybe sooner than i expected to. thanks for everyones input..its been a big help! and if anyone can recommend anything more that would be great!

I'm so glad to hear this!!! Did you really lose 6lbs already? Wow! Great job! The reason it's going well is all about the calories. You've reduced how much you eat and are exercising on top of that and you've created a sizeable calorie deficit. It's that simple.

By the way, looks like you need to do some laundry based on your picture.

its just so amazing that i can just eat a huge peice of salmon on the grill..which i love, instead of a cheeseburger....and im just as full i thought the food part would be the hardest part but its actually not bad at all...and the walking is is definately gonna be a part of my life forever because i looove it..its like medatating. i love what im doin...but you are right...i DONT love laundry!!!

I hate laundry too. I have a huge basket full in my laundry room.
