YUCK! | I think they just recently switched (McDonalds) to transfat free oils for their fries. I wonder if it was the transfat oil had an impact? Regardless, I used to eat so much of that when I was a kid, now the smell of it makes me sick!

they may not use transfat oils anymore but did they stopped using that additive that keeps oil from darkening when used a lot?

Entirely off topic, but I think soda can also make you sick.
A year after I stopped drinking pop I was really thirsty and hadn't eaten all day. So I found the closest vending machine and drank the whole can in one sitting. Perhaps this was because I had an empty stomach, but just ten minutes later my stomach started acting up and I really started gagging.
I guess by then my body was no longer used to being treated like a garbage can so I could feel the full effects of drinking the stuff.

You might also be eating a lot healthier now and to go back to that like eating a bunch of fried food after getting away from it for a while tends to make me feel a little sick. Because of that I haven't gotten any fast food hamburgers, fries ect from a fast food joint in a while. I guess it's just our bodies telling us that they want to be fed more nutritious foods.
