Diets

There are so many different ways to lose weight. One of my friend for example is doing the Atkins diet and my mother says that counting calories is the most effective way to lose weight. What do you think? Would you say that there is a "best way" actually or would you say that people are different and that is why diets should be different as well?

Re: Diets

Counting calories hands down is the best way in my opinion. Diets are really meant to be temporary solutions and aren't the best for keeping it off long term. What keeps it off long term is a lifestyle change, one where you ideally add exercise to your life and count your calories. All natural, no frills, no pills.

Sure some diets can be better for some than other diets...at least in the short term that is.
