i agree, study as of Jun 13th, 2005, people who drink diet soda don't lose weight. in fact they gain weight. diet soda is linked to over weight and obesity.

Yep, this is true! Assuming everything else in your life stays constant of course. It's hard for most people to see that far ahead though.
I heard that about diet soda too! I guess it leaves you craving real sugar and food! I'm a diet soda addict though. At least I kicked the habit of drinking any with aspartame (diet coke, diet dr. pepper, etc) and only drink the ones with spenda now like diet hansens. Supposedly splenda is the lesser of the two evils.
