Re: colonix colon cleanser

Colon cleansers are just a short term thing. Everyone I know who has tried them hasn't lost any long term weight.

What do you have to lose except a little bit of $$$$? Couldn't hurt.

Re: colonix colon cleanser

I did a colonix colon cleanse earlier this year and what a result! I didn't lose any weight, that wasn't the purpose, but I certainly felt a whole heap better in myself afterwards, all cleaned out and not bloated at all. The 'rope' gunge that comes out is quite an experience to see but is really the psyllium husks that have swollen and moulded themselves into the pattern of your intestine, they then 'sweep' the intestines clean, fantastic. The Kleri tea is great tasting if you put just a teaspoon of honey in it and it works like a charm, steady going, no cramps. I would highly recommend colonix for the occasional clear out but don't expect fantastic weight loss miracles.

Just a tip: you might find the 'rope' a bit hard to flush away because it floats. I kept a thin garden cane stick by the loo and stirred it up to break up the rope into little bits. I then added a couple of drops of Fairy liquid into the bowl to break the surface tension and this allows a better flushing.

Good luck with your experience.

Re: colonix colon cleanser

I would love to hear more about this. I did a colonic a few years ago and it is amazing what comes out. Does this accomplish the same as a colonic? Is it accomplish more or less. Can I buy it a GNC or Vitamin shop or do I have to order from somewhere?

Re: colonix colon cleanser

Colonix is available online, just Google it to find the appropriate supplier for your location. You can also achieve the same effect with something called Oxypowder (not to be confused with Oxyclean which is for doing your laundry with!!) A colonic can only clean out the large part of the colon, the Colonix sweeps out the whole from the stomach downwards so it is a slower but more effective clean. Colonic irrigation can be a bit brutal and Colonix is a whole lot less embarrassing.

Spinachdip Anything else to report yet?
