Obesity Walk- Detroit
The St. John Health Weight Loss Center in Madison Heights Michigan will sponsor a "Walk From Obesity," on September 15th, 2007 at Freedom Hill County Park. The address is 15000 Metropolitan Parkway, in Sterling Heights.
Only 50 have registered so far, so get involved! The one and a half mile walk's goal is to raise money and awareness on behalf of both the American Society for Bariatric Surgery and the Obesity Action Coalition. The money will go to education, treatment and research on obesity.
