Mark your calendars folks! From July 27-29th the CDC hits Washington D.C. for its first seminar on obesity prevention and control! Many thanks to the Omni Shoreham Hotel for hosting the event!

The goal of the gathering is to cover progress in the fight against obesity from policies/strategies and focuses on schools, medical care, work, and the community.

The obesity conference will highlight progress in the prevention and control of obesity through policy and environmental strategies and is framed around four intervention settings: community, medical care, school, and workplace.

They're going to focus on having solid interaction with participants, so you won't just be listening! Granted the conference's target market is leaders in the obesity community, but that's not to say you can't go and see how our country plans to tackle the issues (and more importantly report back to us)!

One day passes to the obesity conference are $175, or a 3 day pass is $350 before July 3rd, or $425 after that.
