Medical society to host seminar on obesity Tuesday evening

The Spartanburg County Medical Society will host an obesity seminar Tuesday evening with a panel discussion on obesity prevention, particularly in children.
Blood pressure screenings and blood sugar tests will be available from 6 to 7 p.m. at the First Baptist Church Hangar.
Local physicians will discuss child and family health, nutrition and exercise, diabetes and obesity surgery. The panel discussion will run from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
It will include a question-and-answer session and is open to the public.
