I'm so sorry hollee...
Hopefully things will start to pick up again...these good/bad stretches seem to come in waves...The only difference between a rut and a grave is their dimensions.

I sense a recurring theme here....books about untimely unplanned death.
Hollee, is there something you're not telling us?
Keep your head up Hollee, good things are going to come! I can smell it!
Although you don't have your physio you still have your carers, correct? Any way to get them to come extra days that your physio would have covered?

Re: Mumamia hereIgoagain
I have asked for an extra day with the carers, they say no they can't fit me in but will try again in a few months.
I am still walking twice a week so that's good.
Bye the way OD, I am now reading an Ian Rankin book and yes I love any type of crime book but no I could never commit one but would like to write one.
I came to say that I thank all those here who have tried to help me. I would like to especially thank OD, Rue and Joserini, you have all made me feel welcome and as comfortable as one can. All three of you are doing marvelously with your maintaining, keep it up.
I hope to return to this site once I have a better hold on my life, things just seemed to be getting to me more than normal and so many other life issues are not going so well.
I wont be helping anyone here because of the way I feel, it is best to go.
Everyone have a great Christmas and a Marvelous New Years.
Take care allLast edited by hollee; 11-19-11 at 06:06 AM.

Hollee, I'm saddened to hear things aren't go so well for you, if you EVER need anyone to talk to about anything on or off the board, I'm here for you, we're here for you. Regardless of how things having been going for you, you have still been a positive influence here which will be sorely missed....so don't think for a moment that you still can't have a positive impact on others' lives here even if things aren't going well elsewhere.
Please keep in touch and let us know what's going on, because we do want to know and do want to be there for you, through thick and thin.
Keep asking for an extra day of help, you can never ask too much!
You've been such a bright spot here and will be missed!

Re: Mumamia hereIgoagain
Hello all.
Dropped by to let you know I am not quite ready to come back daily at the moment though will pop in often.
I had a good Christmas but spent new years in hospital. I'm back to my normal pre- hospital health.
I have been able to get two more physio sessions a week, they are not with my carers. They are not only good for building up my fitness but they help to occupy my mind. Getting out of the house is an added bonus. (my anxiety has lessened on this front).
Since my hospital visit I have had and have still to come many varied specialist appointments, these too give me something to do.
My weight is sitting at 131 kilos though I am not concentrating on the numbers as I know it will eventually start going down again with all my physio.
Well that's all for now, will keep in touch.
Hollee

Re: Mumamia hereIgoagain
PHEW
What a week I have had.
So much exercise that I was going to bed by 8:30 pm nearly every night, exhausted. The most walking I did was actually on a non-physio day, when I had two hospital appointments, one in the morning and one in the afternoon at two different hospitals. Before I went I thought I would have time after my first appointment to have a rest and have lunch before my next appointment. I ended up walking so much(for me) from one part of a hospital to other part that in the end I didn't have time for lunch and only quick rests when needed to while walking. Bye the end of the day I was buggered but felt good as I knew I had managed to walk more than I have in so long.
I am feeling saw in many places but happy knowing I am better for it.

Sorry about your long week...but I think it's a good sign if the exercise 'just' makes you tired. That means, that should be able to slowly build up stamina without hurting yourself in the process...
...keep trucking away hollee!!! You can do it!

Re: Mumamia hereIgoagain
Couldn't believe it, Viagra
Only been taking it from Wednesday, so far a couple of side effects but they are rather miner ones.
My week has been very difficult. My left leg has been very saw since about 5 days out of hospital. My gp thinks a pinch nerve in my back however my physio thinks it maybe going to fast to soon in my exercise and have a sports injury.
A sports injury,me, who would have thought, sound so funny. Anyway physio massaged my leg and twisted and pulled it and yes, made me cry, though it slightly better today for it. She would like it to be done daily but I don't know anyone to do it.
I have to try and do some walking to help it. Mean time I have kept up all my arm exercises and have been doing the grinder.
OD, I'm basically eating like I was before including protein shakes twice a day.

Are you feeling better in general? By that I mean fitter at all?
