    am accountabiliy:

    weight: 240.8
    bp: 122/77

Still sick but definitely better than two days ago. I cancelled all but one appointment today and I cleared tomorrow too. I'm reading a stupid end of the world/zombie novel that I got free on Kindle. Mind candy - beats anything on tv. I may get on the exercise bike this afternoon and pedal a few really relaxed miles, not break a sweat, just move the muscles.

    Stay strong!

    Re: Do Overs

LOL Rue - I usually do too, but I wish I didn't. There is too much going on for me to be hanging out in the recliner, reading trash novels, drinking tea, and producing phlegm. Oh well.

I got back from my strenuous 45 min work day and was exhausted. I took another mucinex and a nap. Then, I made tuna salad. It's a recipe I came up with two years ago. If you're interested, here's the link: Tuna Salad - guilt free

I had one serving over a big bowl of chopped salad greens and 12 chopped asparagus spears. It was tasty and definitely filled me up. I'll eat the second serving tomorrow.

So far, calories for today are right on track. I'll tally up the totals after dinner. Hope everyone had a great day.

dinner: tuna sandwich, cold asparagus with honey mustard
    snack: ?

no exercise. I was going to but this cold/flu thing is really dragging me down. Maybe tomorrow. See ya in the am!

My grandmother passed away this morning. My dd and I were going up to see her and the rest of the family next weekend because she hasn't been feeling well. Too little, too late.

Be back later. My dd was up until 2:30am working on a school project and I woke her up at 5:30am to finish. She's still downstairs working. sigh . . . the news just made it that much harder for her.

Mirandaaaa! good to see you back here. You can soo do it! Just don't leave again when things get hard. Stick around even if you're not losing weight. I think I might get an award on here for the slowest weightloss. But checking in every once in a while and seeing everyone's progress puts me back in the right state of mind.

I'm sorry your not feeling well and sorry about the passing of your grandmother.

    PM Accountability

BP: 148/91 (I have been running around since 2:30 this afternoon. It is now 11:00pm. It will go down when I put my feet up and drink some chamomile)

Exercise: 8 miles on eb/30 mns

    Calories: 920 (Protein 95, Fat 20, carbs 31)
lunch - chicken on thin bun with chipotle mustard
    snack - protein bar
"dinner" - 4 cups of decaf coffee with real half n half
just now - chicken on thin bun with honey mustard, mocha, chamomile tea, just vegies

I was working a fundraiser and on my feet for 6 straight hours. I could have eaten all kinds of bad things, instead, I drank decaf with real half n half. I just ate "dinner" within the past few minutes. I'm down on my calories and carbs but I'm not hungry after my huge late night snack. So, I'm done for the day. And I mean, I am D O N E. My legs are sore from all the running around. Hmmmm, I wonder how many calories I burned?

    See ya in the am.

I got about 4 hours of sleep last night. Ughhhh. I had to get up early to take care of some things that I put off doing all week because I've been sick. Now, I'm all done and exhausted. I think I'm going to take a nap now.

    Re: Do Overs

2.5 hours of sleep! wooohoooo! I never nap like that! I feel much better and the fact that I'm currently eating a 430 cal super yummy salad helps! I have to take the MIL shopping (she doesn't drive) and my dd want a new black cardigan for the service, so I get to go shopping. Ewwww. At least I can replenish my protein bar supply.

    Calories: 1220 (protein 118, fat 20,carbs 105)

    snack: tea
    lunch: Giant salad
    snack: popcorn & mocha
dinner: artichoke, chicken salad - haven't figured out if I'll eat it in celery or on salad greens.
snack: maybe a banana (this will put me at 1310 - if I'm hungry I'll eat it. If I'm not, I won't. I'm not going to sweat it)

Not really feeling the exercise today. In fact, I'm pretty sore and burnt out from yesterday's marathon. So, I'll push it tomorrow. I'm also still fighting this cold - it really wants to hang on. But, I survived without any medicine today and that's always a good thing!

<- - - - me doing the happy dance around my popcorn! LOL I know your position on popcorn d tox, but I never have more than 4 cups of air-popped at a time, and I limit this treat to just a few times a week. Besides, the fiber helps keep things moving!
