| Time For a Change Hi there, I'm new to the forums. I just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. My name's Kayla and I'm 19. When I was younger I was very active, inshape, and involved in alot of sports. As I hit high school I gave up alot of sports and also gained alot of weight. I kept telling myself you know I'll never hit 175 then it was 200, 250 and lately it's been "I won't be 300". I want to finally make one of those statements true. I'm still young and I don't want to go through life being the fat girl. Besides that I don't want to get to the point where it's loose weight or die. I want to do it now. I don't really know how to do it which is maybe why I'm here but I want to loose weight, get healthy, and I'm ready to do what I have to do to get there.

| Re: Time For a Change It's actually a lot easier than you think! The safest way is through healthy eating and ideally some exercise too, which is what we encourage here! All it really takes is counting calories. Shouldn't take more than 10 minutes out of your day. What we can do is help you figure out how many calories you should be eating on average each day in order to achieve your weight loss goals.
We can also help you tweak your diet a bit too and give some tips to reduce hunger. Just say the word!

I was always scared of counting calories, but it's not hard at all, and it really is the most effect way to lose weight, combined with exercise.
