I was a member about two years ago...and I was doing well...and...I fell back into those bad habits...ugh....I don't know how many times I have done that to myself....
Anyway...my motto is...You don't truly fail unless you give up...and I am not ready to give up...
I was back up to 244...and I have lost ten pounds so far...and I am in no rush....If I lost five pounds a month I plan to be happy with it....
I look at my life and realize how quickly time flies...I see my children grow up...so quickly..
I am going to just be smarter about what I eat...and move more...and let time do what it does best...
I want my bagel in the morning with cream cheese...so I am going to have it....I want to eat that chunk of cheddar cheese...so I am going to have it...I want that piece of chocolate...so I am going to have it....just not all at once...and not all the time...and not in great quantities.
What I am going to do...Is do it my way...
I remember...I was on this highly restrictive diet years ago...for a couple of weeks...I was doing well and had lost a bunch of weight...but one night at work...it was donut night...now...that is one food I could pass up with no problem...donuts just are not my thing...but that night...I had walked into the breakroom...right to the donuts...and preceded to consume seven of them before I woke from my trance...yeah...not good....
So...I am back.
Fine. Food Is Not Everything.

Welcome back Fine. I'm biased because it's how I've been doing it but losing slow is the best way. 5 pounds a month is more than enough and over the course of a year it adds up to a big amount of weight. Not to mention it's a whole lot easier to stick to when you aren't trying to lose really fast.

I have dieted and dieted...so many ways...doing it so many differnent ways...the only thing that remained the same was that I was always in such a rush...and I did so well in the beginning...only to crash and burn because I could not maintain it...
so I am gonig to be a turtle...cause I want that trophy
