| Obesity Discussion in the New York Times! Obesity Discussion in the New York Times!
So here's the scoop.
I was asked to write a brief piece for a column in the NY Times that is called Freakonomics. Freakonomics was a book written by two gentlemen who like to take issues you wouldn't normally associate with economics, and put an economic spin on it. They continue the discussion from the book in the NY Times website now.
So, that being said, I wrote a small piece on obesity that catered to what their column was trying to accomplish, which was taking a topic like obesity and putting an economic spin on it.
Here you go: Freakonomics Quorum: What is the Right Way to Think About the Obesity Epidemic? - Freakonomics - Opinion - New York Times Blog
BTW, our site is listed as the "Obesity Forum"

It was by chance....I happened to stumble across an article they wrote regarding obesity years ago, and told them I had a bunch of economic studies relating to obesity on my site, that their readers might enjoy. They ended up giving a link to our website about a year ago to those economic studies, and out of the blue they contacted me to contribute to the column! :eek4:
