| New to Site Hi, My name is Vicki and I need to lose about 70 lbs just to be at a healthier weight and to have more energy. I've gained all of this weight in the past 2-1/2 years thanks to menopause and not eating as I should or exercising. Need to get back on track but my energy level is really low now so I know I need to start out slowly. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Easy on the body, and it does help you burn a few calories...not a lot but it's better than nothing. After a while you'll want to switch to something with a little more intensity. Really what's going to help you more than anything is changing your eating habits, and what I mean by that is creating a calorie deficit....which is consuming less calories than your body burns. As you lose weight you'll notice your energy levels returning to their prior levels. We can help you figure the eating part out, just say the word.

What plan if any are you using? Are you in any other diet support groups? I own one on yahoo that you're welcome to join. It's strictly women and gives loads of support. If interested, let me have your email address and I'll send you an invitation or hook you directly into the group.
Vicki

Vicki | Well the first thing that we need to help you do is to get your eating under control. We have a number of tips that we offer to help people with their eating habits, and in addition we recommend that you start counting your calories. Right now you're in a state where you are eating more calories a day on average than your body burns a day on average, and we need to reverse that trend.

thanks for the infor..I am kind of starting from scratch. For the last 10 years we only had mirrors in our house that went to about your shoulder. I put a full mirror in last week and scarred myself..I am on a forward motion...
