| New Here From South Carolina I am a 32 yr old mother of 3 im 5ft. 7inches and i weigh 210lbs. I come from a family of over weight ppl. And i fight everyday not to gain anymore weight. When i was in my 20s i was 130lbs. I felt good about myself.Then i had twins. I gained up to almost 300lbs with them. I have managed to get some of the weight off. Even got down to 160lbs. But the past two years the weight just keeps coming. My twins are in school now so i thought i would start working on me. I have started walking everyday, and so i havent missed a day. I think my biggest problem is i dont know how to eat right. But im working on that also. I am so glad i found this site cause its hard to do this by yourself. Oh and i also have one of those mothers who always lets me know just how big i am. She just dosent know just how much that hurts me, and i dont say anything to let her know. My dad 350lbs and had his first heart attack when he was 32 and he died when he was 43. And my mom doesnt want that to happen to me. And i dont want my kids to be embarrassed to be seen with me.

We can tell you exactly how to eat right, there's a simple way to calculate how much you should be eating, just say the word!

If you are already walking everyday, then you just need to work on the eating right part. Sure it is hard, but someone told me that "Nothing tastes as good as healthy/thin feels". This is a great website for learning how to eat healthy and there are even recipes available. Also, I have found the members to be super friendly and supportive. Good luck, I know you can achieve your goal. |

Most people like to shoot for 2lbs a week, because it's considered a safe weight loss rate but still gets the job done.

Now that being said, in an ideal world, you'd wan to shoot for eating roughly the following breakdown to help you on your weight loss quest:
Protein: 120g which equals 480 calories
Carbs: 65g which equals 260 calories
Fat: 65g which equals 585 calories
This macronutrient breakdown would put you at about 1325 caloires a day which is right around where you want to be to lose 2lbs a week.
You just need to be meticulous with your calorie counting!
