Hi to all! I'm 19 and have a long history of family with heart disease and diabetes that i'm am trying to avoid. i live in Boulder, Co. I'm really hoping to find a few good friends in my area with similar issues. i thrive best with a great support system and as wonderful as he is my boyfriend doesnt struggle with his weight. So anyone in my area let me know.

Thanks for the welcome! well since i'm young and in overall good health, my doctor says my best chance is just to get to a healthy weight.

It's most likely best to have a close to home support system, but I've found the people on the boards are just as good, even if they're all over the world.
