Hello! My name is Judd. I'm 48 years old, married with children. I work part time.

I've never been thin but at 5 ft. 4 inches my weight ballooned up to 180 pounds. I recently found out that my husband of 22 years has been unfaithful to me. I knew about his affair 5 years ago, and that ended with an "I'm sorry, it was a hard time in my life." So I forgave him. Now I found out he's been seeing other women.

Back to my weight. I'm channeling my anger into weight loss. I don't want to be the short fat dumpy wife. I have a picture in my mind and that's helping me to stop overeating. We all know how to diet, it's the motivation to keep on going. Now I know I will loose weight 'cause I'm going to be thin and gorgeous. other men will look at me!

Welcome and using anger is a great motivation to lose weight! Every time I get out of a long term relationship I channel all my frustrations to get back into what I can "single shape."

have you decided how you are going to go about losing weight?

Wow I'm sorry. I know it hurts to learn of infidelities first hand. My x cheated on me more than once and it hurt. But I'm glad you decided to use that hurt and anger in a positive way. And we are all here to give you all the support and encouragement you need.

I'm going to lose weight and this time keep it off. What I mean is, I'm not going back to my old eating habbits.
