| Hypnosis and Weight Loss
Has anyone here tried Hypnosis? I did 4 weeks ago and have lost 16 pounds. I just wanted you all to know it's another option. I never believed in that sort of thing but wanted to give it a try... The whole thing is this. You have 2 parts of a brain, conscious and subconscious. Your conscious part is the one that tells you You want food now... and when you go get the food your subconscious part tells you no don't do it, it's not good for you... but our brains need to be reset ... an obese persons subconscious brain tells them it's ok, it will taste good... go for it!
So what do you have to lose...? Weight perhaps!
by the way, I have also been exercising every night since my visits... 30 days in a row and I look forward to it... I feel so much better already!
Good Luck,
Steve

Ummm, so you have been exercising for 30 days in a row since your hypnosis, but make it seem like it's the hypnosis that caused the weight loss.

No you don't seem to get it... I am doing all the work... hypnosis has given me the drive to do the work...
What ever it is, it's working for me... I really don't care where the drive is coming from. All I know is I went... and I have now lost 18 pounds in 4 weeks and 1 day...
Who cares, I am loving it |

Who cares, I am loving it | If hypnosis is what gives you the push to exercise when you didn't have the will before, then I think it's great. 30 days in a row?!!? That's amazing. What type of exercise are you getting?

What type of exercise are you getting? | I have been doing 20 minutes on the elliptical, 20 with weights, 10 on bike, that is my typical workout. My job doesn't allow me to be to physical. last evening I did 20 elliptical, 20 on bike and 20 on weights... best night ever because I had the time...
I agree, what ever it takes. I am 52 and have been overweight all my life... best years are yet to come. I have always been on a diet (always) my top weight was 475... I am 362... so my next goal is 350... my ultimate goal is under 200. I know it's a ways off but every day I get closer. So is hypnotism the answer for everyone? NO... I would never give out that advice to anyone... I went into that place wondering if I was going to laugh while she was doing it... I actually did feel different once I left. I am NOT on a diet... or feel I am on a diet at all for the first time in 52 years or 35 years that I can remember. This is the first time I feel free with food... I am still a mess in most peoples eyes... BUT I feel a lot better and have the drive to get this done. My blood sugar is 10 points consistently lower... I was on the hairy edge of meds for that. Why I came here is because I am one of you all that visit here... I too am always looking for hope... so I am here to share my experience and hope it helps someone else.

Steve | Good good and good! Great attitude, and I'm sure this time around you'll take care of business. Always good to look at small goals a little at a time just like you're doing! Awesome! So are you ever going to go back for more hypnosis?

No, this is self hypnosis... I do it every evening for 30 minutes and it seems to be working. I believe I finally found the answer for me. I have lost 22 pounds in 5 weeks. I can go back if I need to, so time will tell
