| Hey everyone Hi all,
New to the forum. My name is Jay, I am a 22 year old male, recently recovering from a long series of sports injuries, as a result I am up to 260 pounds from my normal weight of 200. I am 5'11, and was a college Lacrosse and Hockey player. I recently started a new diet regiment, along with a workout and actually a complete lifestyle change.
I started my diet this week, so far I have lost 2 pounds, My actual goal is to be back to 200 by the end of 2008. Then possibly lower by this time in 2009, I am a fairly large framed person, so I doubt 165 is even possible for me. But hey, you never know.
I have read a lot on this board, and you all seem like a great bunch of people. I look forward to getting to know you all over the next few months.

| Re: Hey everyone As of late I have switched from a "whenever" diet to a 5 meals (300 calories each sitting), on a set schedule 10am 12p 3p 6p and 9p.
10am- 2 Slices whole wheat toast
12pm- 8oz 95% lean beef
3pm- Fruit salad
6pm- 6-8oz chicken or fish (baked)
9pm- varies, Could be 2 glasses of red wine, or a salad with light dressing depending on the night.
I only am drinking water/green tea, and I have removed all soda and most snack foods from my house.
My injuries were, torn ACL, broken ankle, and then a torn quad. all on the same leg too. Doctors say i have had a full recovery, and suggested me to start my new diet regiment as well to prevent future injuries due to weight gain.

Been there on the injuries! Tore my ACL, meniscus and a tendon in foot, all on the same leg too! I hate rehab.
Green tea and water will put you in the right direction, so good work there!
