| Hello, I am new! Hello, I am not really new since I am 47 but am new to this website. I have been married for almost 30 years-will be 30 on May 20th! I have 4 kids, 1 daughter in law, 1 son in law and 3 grandkids. We all live in North Central MO within 15 miles of each other. We all moved out from the state of Oregon about 3 years ago and love it here. I have struggled with my weight all of my life, and finally did something about it on March 23, 2006 when I got hypnotized and have lost almost 100 pounds due to this, the rest I have lost due to lo carb which is another 40 pounds. I still have another 60 pounds to lose at least-it seems to be taking forever to lose this weight even though I know that it took along time to get fat and it will take time to get rid of it.

You're very lucky!! Maybe it's time to change around your weight loss method if you've hit a sticking point? Are you still doing low carb?

| Re: Hello, I am new! Yes I am still trying to stay basically lo carb, I am doing this because when I go off even by just a little I gain alot of weight. When I am not lo carb all I want to do is eat everything in sight, like I have no self control at all. When I am staying locarb I usually don't crave much if anything. The thing I really need to do is to motivate myself into doing exercise. I was exercising when I lost the most, but I hate doing it and really have to force myself, and lately I just haven't been doing it at all.

| Re: Hello, I am new! Congrats on your weight loss so far. My sister used hypnosis to quit smoking 23 years ago and it worked. I have considered it for weight loss, but wasn't sure if I could be hypnotised. How can a person know ? I too crave when eating carbs and have just learned that artificial sweeteners can also make a person crave sweets.
