Hello! I'm 18, and I live in Portugal  I'm quite huge, since my dad is a gigantic nordic sportsman (rubgy ;D)
However my mum is a tiny little woman, and so is everyone in this place, and I look like a hippo in the middle of butterflies D; Plus, I'm overweight, though I'm not obese anymore =p
I'm an artist, and I'm currently taking a highschool art course and teaching manga 
I need friends who are like me, I'm sick of being the school's freak :c

Portugal and Nordic Sportsman? Is your family originally from Portugal? I do love playing Rugby though! I just hate the fact that I could never walk straight the next day after playing. 
What exactly is manga? I have never heard of this before. I understand what it's like to feel different, I was always the shortest in school, but at least you have the ability to do something about your weight if you'd like. I'm stuck being short for life.

My dad is english, mum is portuguese.
And manga is a japanese drawing style, focusing on eye detail and line thickness variation. Like cartoons, but just not for children. You can have really violent or sexual manga/anime too (45% of is for adults only)

Im also an artist, well kind of, LOL  i do love drawing, and I took a drawing class in college and I loved it...... and omg!! you like manga!! I love manga, ive read a lot of manga stories they're awsome, and I sometimes draw sketches from the characters of the stories
where do you teach manga??
I also watch anime, do you like anime??

this manga you speak of sounds interesting, is this a new form or art? i do not remember hearing of it when i was involved in art. i mostly focused on sculpting but did some painting too

As for manga/anime, it was born in the fourties, but it's influences are over 2000 years old.

About the sardines, yes it's a national dish, but we eat other things too, I assure you =p
Plus I'm a vegetarian, so I don't eat fish or meat at all.

I love anime. I am so otaku! I have not been that big of a manga fan, but I love the artwork. I am a huge art fan, having an art degree myself. I am likely to branch out into manga soon now that there is so much more available in English.
