Hello everyone!

Hello everyone. I'm a 20 year old female who has been struggling with my weight all of my life. After graduating high school I stopped exercising and started eating. 30 pounds later I have decided this year I would like to get back down to my normal weight...not all of us are supposed to be rail thin. I stop losing weight around 160. Which is healthy for me and where I am comfortable being. I just want to bring in the new year with a new look at my health and life in general. I stumbled across this site looking for support and I was really impressed with all of the people who had lost so much weight and the support you all give one another. I really think this sight is a wonderful thing! So hi again to everyone!

Welcome! I'm a newbie also and have struggled with my weight for about 10 years now - I'm hoping that with support from a group, I can stick with my diet and exercise plan this time

Welcome to the forums!

Our stories sound pretty close. I was always borderline overweight through all of jr. high and high school, and then I graduated, and hello 30lbs.

Originally I just wanted to be back down to my high school weight, which was about 150-155 lbs. I never thought I'd be able to surpass that, since I tried 'dieting' all through high school, and never saw any results. But I've since learned I was doing it wrong.

What are your plans for your weight loss? Joining a gym? Heathier eating? Let us know and everyone will have great suggestions and advice for you
