Hello all

Hello all...

Heres a quick guide to what you need to know and why im here

Name: Phil
Weight: 13st 12lbs
Target Weight: 10st 00lbs

I am setting up a blog which i will write on daily , and also post the best posts on this forum , any tips on both which blogs to use and how to lose weight would be great

Im joining a gym next week and cutting out all junk food and snacks in my first attempt

Welcome! Joining a gym is a great idea; I recommend it to anyone! Here's a good section with tips:

Cutting all junk food out and unhealthy snacks is a great start! Eventually one of the things you should be shooting for is to eat fewer calories on an average day than your body burns on its own. Exercising will help you increase how many calories your body burns, but it helps to know what you're putting into it as well.

We're more than happy to help you figure that out.

Many thanks , my first main goal is too drink water and cut out alcohol..... im not sure which im looking forward to most losing pounds or saving money

LOL, a little of both of course! Just doing alone that will make a big difference. The exercise and eating habit changes alone will make a big difference. See how you progress with those changes alone, and if you want to turbocharge your weight loss we can help you with counting calories if you'd like.

Hello Phil ... welcome and best wishes on your weight loss!

I found that giving up junk food, fast food, trans fats, hydrogenated oils, refined sugars and refined flours ... plus eating a lot of lean proteins, fresh veggies and fruit, and whole grains .... worked best for me. It's amazing what you learn when you start reading labels, huh?

Let us know how the gym joining goes for you!!!
