| Re: faye This is an easy one. You are burning right around 2000 calories a day based on your stats. In order to lose 2lbs a week on average, you'll need to cut your calorie intake down to 1000 calories a day on average. In order to lose 1.5 lbs a week you'll want to eat 1250 calories a day on average, and for 1lb a week you'll want to eat 1500 calories a day on average. It's that easy, just gotta start writing down the calories you eat! Now there are many other tips/tricks in this topic too....this should get you started! Weight Loss Tips - Starting off? | Re: faye It's something I got to get use to. I made a house saland tonight. That's all I'm going to have tonight if I get hungry. Since, 4:00 pm (eastern time) I had a bowl of cereal with 2 piece of toast. ha tomorrow I going to have one piece of toast and cut down on the sugar I put in my cereal. It going to storm here (Florida) so, I'm loging off.

| Re: faye most veggies if prepared properly have less calories than the breads and meat and pasta that you eat so you can eat more of it and get less calories. and if you have the mindset that they are going to be yucky then they probably will be you've got to try and keep a positive mindset.

| Re: faye I do go in with a positive mindset, but when you cant pound on the butter or cheese its gross. I tried green beans and I gagged from the shock of the flavor. Ive always liked green beans but not without salt and butter. I know there less calories and more filling but blah. A reese cup is 80 calories and a can of green beans is 70. I should eat the green beans but id rather down a gallon of water and eat the reese. I cant help it.

| Re: faye Potatoes make gag sometimes. Why not put a little butter on your veg. Try using smart balance. You lost 40 pounds thats great. chocolate is one of my down falls. I don't do my shopping so I don't get a lot of chocolate. I don't leave the house to often. Just to Doctor offices. My belly is making noisces. I haven't heard that sound in a long time. To me thats means I'm eating right. Small amounts. It's 6:20 am to early to eat I think I'll go get a glass of water. I'm cutting back on my bread in take, so that should help me

You should try to get out of your house; when you sit around it's sooo easy to start eating extra, plus you're not burning calories!!!
