Hello all, this is my first post on the site. I am 5 ft 7 and 26 yrs old. Like a lot of other people I began struggling with my weight as i got older and less active ( desk job without much exercise and slowing metabolism is NOT a good combo). I maxed out at 220 LBS about 6 months ago and decided to make some changes. I completely changed my diet and cut out cheese, soda, chips and candy while eating a large breakfast medium sized lunch and light dinner with some low fat snacks in between. I also began some light weight lifting as well as some cardio about 3 times per week. As a result I've been able to trim about 30 pounds but have remained stuck at 190 LBS for the last 2 months and feel like I've hit a wall. I am looking to trim another 15-20 LBS so I started browsing on the internet when I stumbled upon some information on the acai berry.
It looks almost too good to be true but I do not personally know anyone who has used acai for weight loss and it seems like a relatively new find. Has anyone used this particular product or had success with acai for weight loss? Also has anyone experienced any negative side effects from taking acai supplements? I am really looking for something to give me that extra boost to put me over the hump and appreciate any unbiased information or insight. Thanks in advance!!!
