| Re: 5 weeks on!! Ummmmm. AGAIN, I AM NOT STARVING MYSELF!!!!!! I am eating more than enough. I really thought that this forum was supposed to be a place to seek advice from people that may know something about weightloss and not a forum where all you recieve is negative feedback from people that think your way of losing the weight is incorrect. Just because I am losing weight differently than others(and much faster) does not mean it's wrong!! Perhaps if some people actually tried having a little will power and quit cheating on the diet plans they are working on more results would be achieved. You cant say your on a diet and doing well when your around other people and then go home and eat like a moron. Burn more than you take in and you lose lbs. It's not rocket science! I think it's crazy that you are so negative. I have lost over 40 lbs in 5 weeks and went down from a size 40 waist to 35. I went from an xxl t-shirt to a large. my cardio is great, my strength is through the roof,( you said I would lose all my muscle mass, not true), somehow i am putting up 225lbs. on the bench 3 sets of 10 and then I burn out with a set of 15, I do perfect form curls 4 sets of 10 with 40 lb. dumbells, I am squatting 400 lbs. and my body has undergone a major transformation all in just 5 weeks. I feel very sorry that you are so obtuse to try different methods. your loss

| Re: 5 weeks on!! have you talked to a doctor about the amount of food you are eating or should i say not eating? losing weight fast isnt always healthy and eating so little isnt healthy either. what kinds of foods are you eating since you are only eatin 500 calories a day? i mean people with anorexia and belimia lose weight fast as well but it isnt healthy. we just worry about your health you may feel fine now but how will you feel in 6 months after only eating 500 calories a day and how do you plan on keeping it off if you go back to eating a normal amount of calories? from my experience people who lose weight as fast as you are losing it dont usually keep it off long term and end up with alot of lose skin hanging on their body

| Re: 5 weeks on!! no I have not talked to a doctor. I also do not have a bunch of skin sagging. I think part of the deal that alot of people dont understand is that i was previously in very good shape. 6 years ago. the pic on my profile is of me when i was 20 and 175 lbs. i got up to 266 lbs and now i am trying to get back to what i was before. alot of my weight is muscle already.. And i'm serious when i say that the way i am eating 500 calories a day is not starving me. here is my daily routine. does it sound like starvation?
breakfast:
4-5 egg whites with water and coffe
80-90 caloreies
lunch:
salad without cheese,croutons or dressing
120-140 calories
dinner:
1 boiled chicken breast w/ sauteed onions and mushrooms
200-240 calories
toal 470 calories
if i have a snack it is a green pepper or tomatoe
sometimes even a granola bar that is 130 calories, so sometime i do go a little over 500. I only drink water and coffe all day. and i dont snack after 7-8:00pm. I am taking a dietary supplement and multivitamin everyday.
also I work out almost every day and run as much as possible.
it really does work and i am not starving.
as for when i get to my goal weight how will i keep it off?
I dont plan on going back to eating like an idiot again and being unactive. when i get down to 190 i am going to increase to 800-1000 calories and start building more mass. but my true goal is to be able to maintain 180lbs. and be able to cut to 170 lbs. because that is the weight i will be fighting at.
my pic is now on my profile

Being open to different methods is one thing, but going to the extreme as you are is not just different, but just not as healthy for your body. I doubt you could find a doctor to give their blessings on the extreme method you chose for weight loss. You're likely losing not only fat but muscle as well with such an extreme plan, and I don't think you want to lose muscle.
Eating 500 calories with your physique and activity would be like a petite woman eating say 300 calories a day.
It's not that I'm not supportive for you losing weight, I'm just a little nervous with the speed you are choosing to lose weight.

The faster you lose, the quicker you gain.
Sorry to dissapoint you, but you are the only limited minded person here because you don't accept opinions from people who have been through MUCH MORE than you and know the consequences of losing weight very fast.
Your loss
