Recipe for flatbread pizza
I just made a flatbread pizza today, low calorie, and thought I'd share with everyone.
My flatbread pizza recipe includes: - 1/8 cup low fat blue cheese crumbles
- 1/8 cup low fat Kraft shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp light original Kraft BBQ sauce
- 2 large slices low fat smoked turkey breast
- 1 Flat Out Light Original Stone Ground Whole Wheat Tortilla
- Few sprinkles of crushed red pepper flakes
Nutritional Values:
240 calories
7.5g fat
3g sat. fat
20g Carbs
9g Dietary Fiber!!!
23g Protein
The only downside of this meal was the sodium. 50% of the recommended daily sodium value Those who have to watch your salt may want to avoid this flatbread pizza recipe.

Those values are right up my alley...low cals, high protein. How did you fix it, did you put it in the oven?

Either or it's important to get the crust nice and crispy so it can better support the weight of the toppings.

Great suggestion...
We make "backcountry pizzas" when we're on longer trips. Tortillas, a little Ragu pizza sauce, string cheese (strung out), and pepperoni pizza crisp up very nicely on a pan over even a little camp stove out in the wilderness.
Good for dense, high-flavor energy.

Good for dense, high-flavor energy. .gif) | I've done the string cheese thing. Ragu used to make a good pizza sauce, but I can't find it in stores anymore
I've also done a lower calorie thai peanut sauce as well and made a thai chicken breast pizza. A few more calories from the fattier sauce, but good nonetheless.

Sounded good til you mentioned the salt! LOL It's only 5 pts for WW standards though. But I have to watch the salt.
