So I'm sitting in the kitchen enrolling in my firm's healthcare plan, when one of the light bulbs in my hallway starts flickering. I think nothing of it like it's just going to die, but then I noticed an orangish light coming from inside the glass housing the light sits in. I take a peek inside and I see an orangish light emitting.....yep, fire. I immediately turn the power off and I can smell the smoke eminating from the lightbulb.
Luckily I was in the kitchen and saw the light flickering. Had I been in my bedroom, the laundry room, garage, outside, etc....I wouldn't have noticed it, and my house probably would have caught on fire.....had I not been home or around to catch it in time the house would have been a goner I'm sure.
Here's the carnage.....and I took no risks getting the bulb out
