WHAT!! oh..never mind

OK I am apparently on another Plateau and I was upset about that until last night when I got on the scale and it read 271 and I couldn’t believe it, I was absolutely speechless after diet and exercise I GAINED 6 pounds!?!?!?

But then later I saw my youngest playing with the dial on the scale and then I realized what had happened. I recalibrated the scale and I tried again… I am down 1 pound instead of up 6… and I am ok with that.

Interesting part however is that if I got on the scale and saw I only lost 1 pound, before I thought I gained 6, I would have been upset but now it is just fine.

Re: WHAT!! oh..never mind

It was not intentional and it is no big deal really... in retrospect

My daughter was just following in her dad’s foot steps; meaning - just about everything has play value if you just look for it.

She is 2 and the dial turned and it was fun to turn and watch the needle move, this I can understand, I am just glad I saw her playing with the dial and figured it out before I went on a 2 week starvation hike to Florida since I was beginning to believe that was the only way I could loose weight.

Now I just make sure the scale is calibrated before I get on it.

Starvation = Not the way to lose weight.

You could always put tape on the scale adjustment dial so she couldn't turn it again

Now that I know what happened it is no big deal really, I will just make sure it is right before I step on it for awhile and eventually, probably a week or so, it will loose intrest for her and I won't have to adjust it anymore.
