Well I am going to get the surgery to remove the excess skin and flab off my tummy that just wont go away. He was really happy with my weight loss this summer. So he has sent in for approval from my insurance company.
Since he got all my medical records he desided not to reconstruct my tummy muscles he said with my lung problems and the fact that I had congestive heart and lung failure back in 1999 that I would be under to long to make it worth the risk.
Now for the bad news the extra weigtloss made him able to feel a large hernia I didnt know I had. its in above my belly button on the right side and is as large as my hand or bigger he said. And I have big hands for a woman. I did ask him if I should get that fixed first and he said no. That getting rid of the excess would make it easier to deal with the hernia. But I intend to talk to my family doctor about it when I see him next week.
So that means 2 surgerys for me this winter YUCK!
I will keep everyone updated on the approval and when the surgery will be.
I know for the skin removal I will be in the hospital for overnight or maybe 2 nights depending on how well I do. If I am in any longer then that I will have hubby bring me my laptop ( cant have computer withdrawls lol ).
But the surgery more then likely wont happen until at least the first 2 weeks in Nov. He said recovery time is different for everyone but I will have drains in for about 2 weeks or so. So that wont be to bad.
That means I will ask for new clothes from Santa cause nothing I have will stay on me after that lol.

Aww I am happy for you!! I am sad however that you have to have 2 surgeries. Not fun. I wish you well. I know you will be happy after this is all done with. And can not wait to see a big smile on your face!!!!!

Thanks Everyone I am hoping that with all of that off it will give me some back pain relief. Looking better will be awesome as well but the main focus for me is to do more!

Thanks yeah I will take some pounds off and I cant wait to shop for new clothes all mine are so big right now its crazy,
I did have to go get a couple pair of sweat pants the other day just to have something that fit. I get the mens cause they are warmer and have pockets and last winter I wore an xl and the other day I had to get mediums I was soooo excited!

But I am finding that I am having a problem freakin out a little at the same time.
A long time ago everytime I got down so far I would freak and start eating everything in site. Well the last couple of days have been very hard for me not to do just that. I am eating more then normal and I have got to stop!
I know its from when I was a kid and having to deal with people and I will get a handle on it. At least I reconized it right away this time.

I am soooo frustrated!!!!! I called the insurance company and they still havent heard from the doctor. It was too late to call yesterday so now I have to wait til Monday. 
He said he would put it in right away WTH why say it if they dont do its its been almost a month now for pete sakes!

I hate it when people don't follow through with what they say they're going to do, espcially when they know someone is counting on them.
Maybe he just forgot? But you think a doctor would be a little more organized.

A friend made me feel better. they told me " Maybe he knows your still losing and wants to wait just a little bit."
