| Be sure to check your refridgerator water filters every 6 months!
That's how often they are supposed to be replaced. I didn't do that, and had no idea my filter had a crack in it, and water was slowly dripping out of it onto the floor. Enough water had collected on the floor before the puddle was visible to me that the walls got completely soaked. I now have mold and am looking at a $2500 repair. I read on the filter instructions that they should get replaced every 6 months. Don't let this happen to you!
