Yesterday, I went a bit over my calories because it was my husband's birthday. I had a small piece of cake and made a taco dinner with ground chicken. The whole day was about 1750 which is not too bad. I have Thursday scheduled as a higher calorie day anyway so it worked out I had that darn pickle spice on my popcorn again, I need to chuck that in the trash but its soooo good LOL. I was 198.8 this morning with no bloat, yay
Today is good. I am eating on plan and trying to drink more water. I am going to do my three mile workout and toning in a couple minutes. I had to come on here and get inspired first. I am going to be sore tomorrow after the toning!

Ok Kerrie.......Yes I'd love to join in! Yaaa, I can do both challenges.
I found another pair of pants (these are black capri's that are old, old, old from late 80's. Size 10 no stretch. I cannot get close to closing them. I doubt at the end of 12 weeks I will be able to button them.......but hopefully I'll be close to closing them. All my 12's I can button.

Im doing OK, fighting to not try my jeans on until Monday. Once a week is enough
Im going to the pub today so I hope I can keep to one pint. I am planning to have it in two halfs, in each half of the rugby game we're watching.

I'm plodding along! Although, I am going to try to get in 3 short separate workouts today instead of one long marathon! I've got to look about online and find some belly cruncher exercises! My jeans are fitting fine in the butt, hips and legs, it's this gelatinous belly fat that's in the way! Gotta find some exercises that will melt this stuff off!
Stay strong everyone! We don't want our belly's hanging out on the next pic!

Miranda that's totally my issue too is the belly area. I ordered me an ab circle pro and I'm so excited about getting it. I am really really hoping it's going to work that area. Because I'm losing in my stomach but not as well as I am in other areas. It's where I always find my clothes fit the tightest. I'm so hoping I can get that area toned up and lose some more inches in the abs.

Let me know how the ab circle pro works! I've seen them in Kohl's but I'm leery of the price.

Don't shoot me because I'm just being the messenger here, but you can't really spot reduce fat they way you're hoping in your stomach area by doing a bunch of ab exercises. Can you strengthen your core? Absolutely. Is it good for ya? Sure. Does it burn calories? Not many.
It's pretty much all genetics. Everyone loses and gains in different places more than others. Not much you can do about it.....except burn fat by maintaining a calorie deficit! As long as you're continuing to maintain a calorie deficit the weight will come off!

Just like the energizer bunny, I keep going!
I had a really good first week. 6.8lbs down since the challenge began (26.8 overall), and my current jeans are fitting loosely. Exciting things are happening, lol! However, its that time of the month, and I feel super bloated. I hope it doesn't affect the scale too much ;(
I ordered a small elliptical online today, so I'll be doing about 45 minutes on that in addition to my regular workout routine.
Keep rockin' it!

Keep rockin' it! | Wow, that's great 6.8 pounds is a huge loss! I am a slow loser and with a slow metabolism so I am happy with a pound a week. Hey everyone
Im going well so far, last week I was good, apart from the first couple of days when stress overtook, but I tried on my jeans yesterday and was surprised to find they felt ever so slightly looser. Far from fitting, but it was a good feeling. I am allowing myself to try them on once a week for a confidence boost. Eating this week has been good, and am ahving curried parsnip soup for tea. Its tasty and full of vegetables I am having a glass of wine at the pub tonight, my last before lent so i am going to enjoy it!
Keep it up everyone, we're all doing great
Tx

Does romping around in this Nor'easter count as exercise? LOL... All my son wanted to do was play in the snow with me today. Ridiculously fun!
Anyhow, food has still been clean, keeping to the plan Maybe I'll see if I've made any progress as far as my Skinny Jeans when I feel less bloated! I see definite changes in my lower body... like thigh/butt area. Slightly (yet not as much) in my midsection *sigh*, I CAN DO THIS!
Hope you're all staying on track __________________

Guess what? I can button my jeans! Woohooo! Of course, there's no way I can zip them up, all that gelatinous fat kind of sticks out the zipper part and I have serious muffin top (No, there will NOT be a pic!), but I can button them! There was NO way that button was going anywhere near that button hole 2 weeks ago!
Thanks guys for this challenge! I am going to wear these jeans again!
