I'm in the concierge lounge of my hotel, and some random lady screams at this 13ish y/o boy across the room "DON'T DO THAT!!!" I look over, and he's sticking a metal knife inside a live toaster to get his toast out!
He stopped when she screamed at him, but went back at it with the knife as soon as she left. I went up to him and yelled at him too and said "Are you stupid? Do you want to get electrocuted?" He goes, "I do this all the time at home and nothing has ever happened."
I grabbed the knife out of his hand and said, "this isn't your home and you're not doing that here."
I flipped the button and his toast popped out and he sat their bewildered like I just solved the mystery of the how the universe started.
