| Do you get compliments....and wonder why?
I have gotten a couple people asking if I have lost weight....I know that is great and all...but I wonder if it is just to be nice or what? I mean I really don't think I look much better. Not clothed anyway. Do people do this to you? I should be happy but of course I over analyze things and wonder why they said something. Oh well hoping that I start losing weight here soon again.

I've had various people mention it to me in passing.
I only see my future inlaws every couple of months. I remember when I saw them at about 155 lbs, my future mother in law just gushed on and on about how great I looked.
When I saw them a few weeks ago at around 137 lbs, she told me I was too thin, and then had a private talk with my fiance to make sure I was eating enough

I just find people that I have not seen in some time do it....and I tend to wonder if they would say it to just anyone. You know?

I don't think weight loss is something people just say out of looking for a compliment to make (unlike "I like your hair!"), at least I know I've never said that to someone unless I noticed enough to think it. So I think the comments you're getting are genuine. (I saw the new pics you posted, and you honestly look awesome!)
I do love my future mother in law, it just kicked ticked me off that she felt she had to go to my fiancé and tell him to watch me and make sure I'm eating enough etc etc. I know I'm loosing weight the healthy way

Then that is all that matters. If you know you are doing it the healthy way and are happy that is what counts.
Thanks hun. I am trying to lose this weight. Trust me from a side profile not so bad....from a front...whole different story. I have a bunch more to go. But thanks. And yes lets hope that compliments are genuine.

I get a lot of them from people I dont see often. I know I have lost a lot the last couple yrs but I still see a big fat person when I look in the mirror.
It took my step daughter to stand next to me in her full length mirror for me to see the difference. Let me tell you i about freaked. But then I have always had issues of hiding behind the fat.

Thanks  its taken forever thats for sure.
I still cant believe the sizes I am in. I never thought I would see the day that I was in a ladies XL and if the boobs werent so large I could get away with a large LOL. My 16/18 pants are all baggy execpt for around that flap that the doc is getting rid of for me but even there they are getting baggier.

Ok blown away today. I walked into my old job (same company but different building) and talked to one of my old managers. And before I could say hi he blurts out "wow have you lost weight, you look great". LOL I was so excited. I know I turned bright red. God to have other say that is nice. I have had other friends of mine who have been with me this whole time and knew I was trying to lose weight recently compliment me on how my body looks. Saying it looks so much leaner and toned from the last time they saw me. YAY!!!
