Time-released medications post-surgery

Am I stuck not being able to take time-released meds forever or can they be taken again after a certain amount of time? I know that the pouch messes with the way they are supposed to be absorbed, but I wasn't sure if that "side-effect" goes away eventually or not.

Thanks!

Re: Time-released medications post-surgery

I cannot imagine you'd be stuck not taking them forever......I think that's a question best asked by your doctor. How's the weight loss coming? Boy you've done so great to date!

There, I updated my hamburger for ya.

That's accurate as of this morning.

I think I am going to end up lower than 165 in the end, though... Only ~20 lbs away just ~6 months out of surgery...

And also I can see and feel plenty of fat left on me. I still have a good amount to lose on my stomach and hopefully my back. If I don't lose some off my back I think I am going to look really weird with such a thick upper torso and skinny lower torso.

Plus I will lose a little more once I have the excess skin removed after I am finally done losing.

My waist has continued to shrink. My 32" waist jeans I JUST bought after Christmas just about fall off of me without a belt on now, even after a fresh wash.

Wow, so you're probably around a 30" waist now? That didn't take long! So you are for sure going to do the skin? Have you priced that out yet?

I'm sure genetics plays a part in the fat loss.....anyone in your family with a bigger upper body?

I dunno, I was adopted. No clues about anything related to my biological relatives.

I really don't excercise at all...

I know it would help a lot with the loose skin, I need to get motivated. I am taking a bowling class, so I get a good workout from that and playing on my own 3-4 times a week.

Low 100's.

Top score is 124. I know I suck, lol.

I'm getting better, though. I used to be happy to hit 50.
