I understand putting on a few hundred pounds, but how does someone let themselves go THAT much to over 900lbs! :eek4:

It was really sad; as they were hauling her out of the house she was telling her daughter over and over "whatever you do don't be like mommy"

Easier said than done IMO, it takes more than telling your kids not to do something, when you in fact aren't doing it yourself.

C'mon -- at 900 lbs. she's not getting up and going into the kitchen and cooking. Not to mention, jumping in her car and hitting the nearest drive-thru. Heck, she's probably unable to even work.

Therefore, there is someone who's feeding her and bringing her enormous amounts of food. At 500, 600, or even 700 lbs., wouldn't they just force her to reduce her calories? They just would bring in less food, or low-cal food, or healthier food. Something to at least maintain her weight, and not gain more weight.

She's not alone in getting to this weight.

Just my very humble opinion....
