| Anyone tried hypnotherapy to lose weight? I've heard that hypnotherapy can really help people lose weight. Has anyone tried it? Or does anyone know anyone who has? Was it a success? I think it is worth a try. Why not?!?! |

| It's part of hollistic medicine. I don't think there're any side effects except empty pockets...So it might worth a try. Being a believer of more traditional medicine, I would not believe in hypnotherapy nor in diet pills. Did you guys know that diet pills are never FDA approved so they have no scientific proof of being effective?
Anyways, you might try if you can spare few hundred bucks on it...never hurt...maybe it'll work for you.

| I have talked to people who had success using hypnotherapy to quit smoking or for other health related issues such as chronic pain, but I haven't met anyone who used it to lose weight. I know that many top atheletes on the professional sports team undergo hypnotherapy as well as top CEO's and such. While I definately do believe this a part of holistic medicine, I don't think it is has any similiarity to quacky diet pills. I just looked it up on wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypnotherapy |
