influence of models

Many people have a weight problem. They are overweight or often even underweight. Especially young girls who want to look like all these skinny models on the catwalk. I think this is a big problem in our society and I am afraid that my 14 years old daugther might get influenced by her idol Naomi Campell too. She adores her for her faultless body. Do you think I have to worry about her?

Well, it depends on the methods they take to look like said models in my opinion...is it through healthy eating and exercise or is it starving, crash dieting and puking?

I also don't think there's nearly as big of a problem with underweight people as there are overweight....I don't think it's even close.

I think part of the problem though is that people won't be happy with who they are if society glamorizes something like a model.

Re: influence of models

Well I think most models don't eat healthy at all and honestly I also don't think that they are still very attractive being skinny to the bones. I haven't realized yet that my daughter has changed her behaviour of eating, but I am working all day and so I have no clue what she eats all day. Do you think I should talk to her?
