| Uh oh starting to feel some shin splints comin on... Bummer. Since I bought these new shoes I thought my shin splints were over. But today I decided to push myself and jog a bit more. So I think I went 4 blocks and stopped then started again 4 blocks stop....and so on. Maybe a bit more or less depending. But now my shins are sore. Grrrrr
Maybe I am jogging wrong. LOL

Maybe I am jogging wrong. LOL    | Have you considered getting custom orthotics? These places give you custom shoe inserts to help correct problems with your footsteps by analyzing how you walk/run? Have you tried stretching that area?
New shoes always take some getting used to. I'd give it time.

Mike's definition of jogging is simple: If you are "moving" slower than 6 miles per hour you are jogging, and quite frankly you would be better off walking!
Walking at 4 mph or faster is biomechanically more efficient and far more beneficial to you than "jogging" slowly!
When we walk fast we tend to use our legs and our arms together and this burns more calories, plus jogging or running put far more potentially damaging forces through our hip, knee and ankle joints."
