Question about muscle supplements

I am starting to lift weights more and more and it is becoming addiction. I been lifting weight for about 2 hours day and resting on sunday. I am starting to get some shoulder muscles and my arms are getting kinda solid. My friend was telling me that I should start using some kind of muscle supplements. Should I? If so what kind should I take? I don't know nothing about that stuff.

Re: Question about muscle supplements

That's great you're enjoying lifting so much

I'm not a body builder myself, so someone else may have a better suggestion, but maybe a protein supplement? Just make sure you work it into your daily calories!

The two best things you can take for yourself are protein shakes (the lower calorie/lower carb ones) and fish oil pills. There are other things you can take, but then you start getting into more controversial items that may or may not have negative side effects depending on who you talk to. Creatine is one of them.

Re: Question about muscle supplements

When you're first starting out, there really isn't a lot that you need to be looking at outside of sound nutrition. As mentioned above both protein powder and fish oil are great for you in a nutritional sense and in a weight lifting sense. As far as protein you can get yourself a good Whey for a decent price, and fish oil at your local super market.

Re: Question about muscle supplements

Thank you yall and sorry about not reply sooner I been sick and haven't been doing much of anything lately. Today is first time I been on pc since last time I post on here. I still been lifting everyday and resting on sunday. Finally start seeing some results I got some bigger shoulder and forearm muscles now. My buddy John told me I should start using creatine and glussulsterion or something like that I probably didn't spell them right.
