| My Experiences With Different Diet Pills I have taken several different diet pills since the age of 14. My first diet pill ever taken was HerbaLife. I dont remember it that well so I wont get into it, but there have been a few that I have tried that work while they are being taken, obviously you have to learn about diet and exercise to avoid gaining the weight back.
I took Xenadrine back in 2002, before the Ephedra ban, I lost weight while using it, not tons but enough to feel better about myself. At the time it was the best diet pill I had used.
In 2006 I discovered Yellow Jackets with Ephedra, I took those and different varieties of Ephedra type pills after the Ephedra ban, and lost 80 pounds within 6 months. After the ban it has been hard to find them and when I do they are about $75.00. I am not able to really kee u with buying them even though I really, really miss them.
I am currently using Lipo-6 (Advanced Version) I had originally tried the Regular Version but it didnt work as well as I was hoping, after feeling miserable about my weight and not really having the energy I needed to keep up with life I bought Lipo-6 (Advanced) and have had good results so far.
If I could go back to taking Ephedra I would. It was the best I had ever tried, and the most offective. I have heard all of the "bad" things about Ephedra, but I am an adult and should be able to make that decision. Just like people who are overeating, unhealthy. Smoking? unhealthy for you and me. Drinking? Unhealthy. Diet pills are my vise so to speak. I really dont understand how Ephedra can be banned when you are choosing to take that risk, but smoking on the other hand is allowed even with the so-called second hand smoke affects that are so bad and something one cannot control ... anyways, this is my experience.

| Re: My Experiences With Different Diet Pills As much as I dislike the use of diet pills...I have to agree with you about the ephedra ban...It was very hypocritical of the government to step in and ban it....but of course they are not making money off of it like they are with cigarettes...
My husband used ephedra to help with his asthma...and guess what it worked...He now has to take two inhalers without the ephedra and their side effects are worse than the so called side effects of ephedra...but again the government gets money from the pharmaceutical companies....

| Re: My Experiences With Different Diet Pills Chickiemaui, i don't know if it the same pill as i took in 1971 if it is i got to get me some of them. i'm going to ask my Dr. about the pill. did you know in 2001 Minnesto Viking football player Korey Stringer died as a result of heat stroke. Ephedra use was considered to be possible cause in his death and three deaths, two heart atacks, two stroke, one seizure and three psychiatric incident with in 24 hours were stronly tied to ephedra. i don't think i would take them. i don't think i can take a diet pill, because of the medcation that i'm on. (anti-depressants). i think your right if you want to take them, it should be all up to you. have a good day every one.

| Re: My Experiences With Different Diet Pills Fine, There is actually a place here where I live called Muscle Machine that sales Ephedra, but when it is not mixed with Caffeine & Aspirin it doesn't have the same effect on weight loss (I tried LOL) But on the box it does say it is for Asthma. It sucks that your husband now has to go through that. Nes, I did hear that. You can overdose on Ephedra, there is no doubt in my mind about that, I think that it was probably used with something else to form a homemade type of steroid. Regardless, I do feel like it should be one's own decision. Plus I just really miss the way it makes me feel. It gave me so much energy and I was so happy, I would laugh all the time. It was a nice time in my life because I am pretty serious. I love to listen to people who are funny, but I'm not, so it was a nice change. I can order Yellow Devil's online, they are just expensive, and inconvenient for me. That is why I decided to try Lipo-6, I was disappointed when the Regular Version didn't work, but just grasping for straws I tried the Advanced, and I couldn't believe the difference. I don't know why I have such low energy naturally. I have tried taking Iron, exercising, I use to eat only Organic, then I tried eating whole, clean fooods. I don't know what my issue is, but I have a fast-paced job that keeps me on my feet and moving for 10 hours a day, so I need something extra.

| Re: My Experiences With Different Diet Pills If you are having a hard time with the foods you eat, just exercise more. I have a hard time eating healthy so I know on those days, which is basically everyday ... I have to exercise like an hour or so. If I barely eat, then I don't really need all of the exercise and then I will do like a walk or like calisthenics at home. You will find what works for you, just don't get discouraged because I would hate to see you gain back the weight that you have lost.

| Re: My Experiences With Different Diet Pills Diet pills are only meant to supplement healthy eating and exercise; if you're not doing those things the pills won't do squat, and you're wasting your money. That being said, what people do now is get the synthetic version of Ephedra, known as Ephedrine, which can be found in Asthma medicines like Bronkaid at your local drug store. It's behind the counter and you'll have to present your drivers license, as the government limits how much one person can buy. I use it off and on in conjunction with my intense workouts as a means to better maintain my muscle mass while cutting fat.
