kioslim

Well actually I am quite skeptical when it comes to the issue of diet pills. It seems just to easy to lose weight by taking these pills and I am not sure if it is really worth its money. It it was I would also like to try them out. Recently I read an advertisement about a product called kioslim. Has anyone ever heard of it?

Waste of money. There is no magic diet pill, and you don't lose weight by just taking these pills.

Re: kioslim

Have you ever tried any kind of diet pill? Or do you know anybody who tried such a product? I mean it sounds so great-losing weight without much effort. And companies who sell diet pills make so much money because lots of people buy it. But they wouldn't buy it if it didn't work or what do you think?

Re: kioslim

i think diet pills are all gimicks all you have to do is eat less and more healthy foods and exercise a little even if it is just parking farther out when you go to a store so you walk farther you'll start to see a difference in your body and the way you feel

Re: kioslim

Well I think that this is not a suitable solution for everybody. At least it might be very difficult for some people. And even if you eat healthy food and if you exercise quite much this won't guarantee weight loss. And if losing weight by taking a diet pill is possible, why not trying it?

Re: kioslim

if you read the instructions that come with any diet pill they say they work in conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise plan. I know i wont waste my money on diet pills and i would never recommend anyone to take any. I've never seen anyone lose weight and keep the weight off on diet pills. as soon as they stopped taking them they gained all the weight back plus more. My x sister in law used to take diet pills all the time. she took them for so long her thyroid stopped working so now she has to take thyroid medicine and she has to work even harder to keep the weight off because her thyroid will no longer control her metabolisim. eating less and healthier food will cause weight loss even if you dont exercise. i know this works because i've lost 15 lbs and the only exercise i get is walking maybe 30 min a day maybe 3 days a week if at all

This is definitely a rarity....I have yet to hear of someone who ate properly and exercised and didn't lose weight, then all of a sudden took a pill and started losing.

It's not so much how healthy the food is that's important for losing weight, it's how many calories you are eating that's important for losing weight.

If you create a calorie deficit by eating fewer calories compared to what your body burns....you're going to lose weight....and how much weight depends greatly on how big of a deficit you've created, and to some extent the type of food you are eating.

adverse effects of diet pills

I know that there are some diet pills which have quite many adverse effects and you should better avoid those pills. But I have heard about a new product called kioslim. I haven't heard of any adverse effects so far and for me it sounds quite good. Or has anybody else heard of negative effects of kioslim?

It is great that you have already lost quite much weight! Congratulations! I have never tried any kind of diet pill and so I am not sure about the instructions. Well usually I am also quite sceptical about these kind of products but as long as they don't have any negative effects I don't see a problem. (Of course some products do have many negative effects and you shouldn't take them!) It might be possible those pils only work if you combine them with a diet but that shouldn't be a problem and I guess you would lose much faster then.

Re: kioslim

as with alot of drugs the negative affects arent always detected until years later so if you do decide to try any diet pills keep that in mind. fenphen was at first thought to be harmless too but it wasnt and that wasnt found out till years later just be careful i know i'm losing weight to be healthy so i'm not gonna chance my health on the possibility that a pill might make my journey a little easier

Re: kioslim

I will. Thank you. But usually all negative effects need to be specified in the instructions of the product. Even the effects for very new products and of course you need to find as much information as possible like studies or something like that in advance . And that is what I am definitely going to do before making my decision.

Don't take them, don't waste your time. Learn to regular your intake and to exercise, end of story. If you rely on diet pills to lose weight, your mental excuse will be if I get off I will get fat. Learn to lose w/o pills or surgery, it can be done!

Kel, you seemed to be infatuated with the thought of a quick and easy solution via diet pills, and I'm going to tell you there isn't one. If there was one then everyone would be doing it. Part of the reason you haven't heard too many bad things is because it's a new product! Kioslim is not FDA approved and I doubt you'll find any long term independent scientific studies out that show it's effectiveness.

No they don't. And how do you know of long term effects for a brand new product on the market? It's not like these products are studied for 10 years before being sold to the public.

Re: kioslim

That is right but how should a new diet pill take root if nobody gives it a try? Maybe a good diet pill already exists but we are still fat being too lazy to buy the pills and not believing in the impact. :-) Okay I haven't said that I am gonig to try kioslim now and I will try to find any scientific studies.

It should wait for FDA approval, just like all the legitimate pharmaceutical companies do with their drugs.

We as a society aren't lazy for not buying diet pills. That's the epitome of laziness....trying to take shortcuts. We're lazy because we're in too big of a rush to eat healthy and don't get off our butts enough to exericse.

Some of us might be lazy but believe me not everybody :-)

Which pill are you talking about amylynn? Kioslim? You mentioned something about negative effects of that diet pill. What kind of effects are this? And have you or one of your friends ever tried the diet pill or how do you know?

Re: kioslim

the pill is called alli, and what i have read about it is that it states you will have bad bowel movements if you eat to much fat while taking the pill. my sister told me that her friend took it and she thinks it helped just that the side effects were harsh if she ate fat.
