| I found a pill that works for me
I go to Curves 3x per week, I drink my water, I take my vitamins, I try to watch what I eat (though I do fall off the wagon from time to time) but I was not getting anywhere (I have a feeling my birth control method is hindering my progress  ). I found Orovo and after reading some forums on it, decided to give it a try (I did the Orovo Detox one). I am down 4lbs in 3 days and even more important than what the scale says... I FEEL great! 
I can't wait for my next weigh/measure day at Curves and it has really re-sparked my motivation. I know there is no "miracle pill" out there and I am not looking to cut corners... just some of us need a little extra push from time to time when they feel themselves slipping. The ones I take are neat because you do them 7days on, 7days off, so it's not like you are constantly shoving pills down your throat (I am really bad at remembering to take pills, but surprisingly, I am having no problem with these). Has anyone else tried them?
If anyone wants to check them out... well... I apparently am not allowed to provide the link because I haven't posted enough lol but it'd be the usual web orovo dot com and then /slimdown . There is all kinds of information on there about them and it's all much better than I could ever type in a small post. |

Flip through a magazine, peruse a newspaper, or surf the Internet and you see them everywhere: Ads that promise quick and easy weight loss without diet or exercise. Weight loss scams seem to pop up all the time, especially as the warm weather gets closer and we all have to face the dreaded task of putting on a bathing suit. It's a vision that can make even the most confident of people shudder in fear. With that in mind, diet scams continue to flourish, thanks in part to the law of supply and demand as a growing number of people find themselves overweight and looking for an easier way to lose it.
One of the newest "secret weight loss" products to hit the market proclaiming itself to be the "ultimate beauty slimming magic pill" is called Orovo. Orovo appears to be the exact same product that I recently wrote about called Leptovox. The only difference is the label has been conveniently changed with a new look and the product has been renamed. The mere fact that the product continues to be shuffled around with different identities every few months is highly disturbing to say the least. As stated previously in analyzing the "twin sister" Leptovox product, the persons responsible for creating Orovo yet again have not made any made explicit reference to any particular ingredient, or to the combination of ingredients that can actually cause this "total body magical transformation" to occur. There is absolutely no scientific validating evidence provided by the singular seller that hawks the product on ebay to support the many outrageous product claims that they make.
The Orovo product is advertised as a super weight loss product that claims to utilize "extracts" from “super foods” to address weight loss, reduce wrinkles, and alleviate acne. These 10 “super foods” were apparently featured on an episode of the Oprah Winfrey show featuring esteemed dermatologist Dr. Perricone. The problem is neither Dr. Perricome nor Oprah have anything to do with this Orovo product, and most certainly never approved their names to be misused by the persons selling it. The product contains some of the following ingredients: Brazilian Acai Fruit, Barley Juice Concentrate, Cayenne Pepper, Wheatgrass Extract, Garlic Extract, Buckwheat, FlaxSeed, Alfalfa Sprouts, Lactobacillus Acidophillus, SoyBean Extracts, Green Tea Extract and Salmon Oil Powder. Strangely, this product appears to be based solely on a slick sales message that the product is a healthy food copulation, yet it seems to include ingredients that may have potentially negative toxic effects on the body.
The bottomline on Orovo, dieters would be wise to remember that following a moderate, healthy diet is likely more sensible than relying on “magic super foods" especially when there is absolutely no scientific or clinical evidence that the product works. Remember, the best way to lose weight is to eat fewer calories and increase your physical activity so you burn more energy. Staying with a weight loss program can prove to be difficult for so many. That is why, when it comes to weight loss, choosing a product wisely, checking with your doctor first and adding an exercise program is the key to your success.

yea tell me about it! why would u even spend $200-$300 on a weight loss pill as redusyn.. and hope to lose pounds where u can just use tht money for sooo many other things!! jeez some ppl are sooo dumb! | |

The best thing we can do for them is to give them all the support and encouragement and info that we can.

umm nooo its DUMB and ill say it again. u can lose all the weight till u see all muscle if u use ur $300 wisely with buying the right food and going to the gym. but buying redusyn for tht amount and being happy u lost 20 lbs finally is just, brutally ignorant. | |

Diet pills are for idiots and mentally weak, learn some discipline and work ethic. If you're not losing weight you're not eating right or pushing yourself hard enough.

I am asking OD to remove the Diet Pill section and take a forum stance against them, that's my personal opinion and I don't know if he'll agree but any chance I get I will surely make my opinion known in these threads. I don't want to be rude or insulting but the fact is that people (including myself) chose a bad road of bad nutrition and no exercise and you have to take a hard look at personal choices and how you got there. Taking diet pills is a continuation of the bad choices that you made with your body/health life in the first place. Sometimes somebody has to slap you in the face to get your attention...
