| Diet Pills? Ok I am really interested in looking into diet pills... I have some questions to anybody who has used or is using the pills..
I see all the time that it says that you dont need to work out if you use it.. Here is my situation..
I work out about 30 minutes a day. If I were to do that and take the pill would that help me lose weight?
Thanks!

| Re: Diet Pills? most diet pills are a scam if they do help you lose weight most of the time when you stop taking them you'll gain the weight back plus most of them havent had any long term research done on them so there is no telling what kind of damage they might be doing to your body..your best bet to lose weight is to keep exercising and to count calories or eat smaller portions 30 min a day is a good start for working out but say try 45 min next week and then an hour the week after. if you arent losing with what you are doing now then try making changes make your workout more intense or longer and eat less food or at least few calories.

Thanks! | So am I because I really know how it feels if you exercise a lot and care very much about your nutrition and don't lose very much weight. So I haven't tried any diet pill yet but I could imagine trying one. I could imagine that in combination with a healthy nutrition and exercising it might help.

DIET PILLS ARE SCAMS preying on people desperate for an easy solution.

| Re: Diet Pills? I am sorry but you don't know me and my weight loss problem. I am definitely to eating to much food. I know what I am eating and believe me it is almost nothing - just as much as my body really needs. People are different-some lose very easy and some don't. It is pretty easy to say something like diet pills are scams until you haven't tried them yourself... |

| Re: Diet Pills? Being a wellness coach I am VERY cautious of diet pills, But I simply know that some natural supplements with herbs do help a lot. Two friends actually introduced me about a new product I am now using and yep Marketing as well. They can help control eating & Lose excess pounds that won't budge simply by increasing energy burn. They also can increase ones energy to exercise or even dance! That's a good thing!

| Re: Diet Pills? So it seems like there are some products in the market which are not just a fake. So which prodocut are you using? It must be good because you won't promote it if you aren't positive about it, will you? So how long have you been using it? And would you recommend others to take it as well? |

| Re: Diet Pills? That's exactly what I am saying. It never hurts to try something that can increase your energy & metabolism. One of my clients is sensitive to green tea extract because of the caffeine, so she only takes this supplement after eating some lean protein and only once every other day. Me I can take it once a day if needed. My story can be found at my profile. But don't get me wrong, I strongly promote health & nutrition thru learning, educating, menu planning etc.

| Re: Diet Pills? It is a pity that you are just here to sell you products. Cause then we will not be sure if you really believe in the impact of diet pills or if you just want to sell them. Nevertheless I might check out your profile later. By the way which product are you talking about and have you ever used it yourself? |

| Re: Diet Pills? Dr. Shapiro is of no affiliation with me. It is a great book there is his own web site on it. I lost 10 lbs with his simple picture format and I lost the other 10 using a supplement and calorie reduction. I really believe in calorie reduction, thru the use of fat burning food choices I wrote an article titled "Can You actually lose weight by eating?" It actually explains how learning and educating is used to help individuals achieve their goals of healthy weight loss. I am learning here also.

| Re: Diet Pills? Unfortunately I think that there are quite many people in this forum who believe that weight loss pills like redusyn are just a waste of time and money. So I thought we could maybe collect a few pros and cons of diet pills and see which part outbalances. What do you think about this idea? Maybe this would be useful. |

| Re: Diet Pills? There are no magic pills, just hard work and desire along with eating right and counting your calories and macro splits. It takes work but it pays off. Check my profile pictures for proof, if I can do it, anyone can.
Shortcuts don't work, as your parents told you (hopefully) if it's too good to be true, it is. Weight loss surgery fails 90% of the time (after 5+ years) and so do pills, you have to go through a life change to take your life back. You can flounder around with all these pills/fads/diets or just learn to get out there and work out at least 4 times a week and get a good sweat up. Even if you don't lose all the weight you want and don't have a super model physique your heart will be healthier, your blood pressure will get better and your resting heart rate will improve, all factors in great health. My Dr. says I'm 25 physically now and I have a clean bill of health even with my 10 to 20lbs of fat I'm still carrying. I'll never be done working out, it's not a part time/short term hobby it's a lifetime of work so I can have a LONG HEALTHY life.
Here's the bottom line - GET OFF YOUR ASS AND WORKOUT AND EAT GOOD NON-PROCESSED FOOD
Read my blog about the work I had to do, it wasn't easy but it's worth it.

| Re: Diet Pills? Well but as I already mentioned this is not possible for everybody because of many different reasons. People are different and therefore the metabolisms are. That is why for some people losing weight is easier than for others.
I would say that a pro of diet pills is that you lose weight quite fast, but a con could be that the pills are quite expensive sometimes. |

| Re: Diet Pills? you may lose weight fast but at what cost? as soon as you stop taking those pills you WILL gain it all back PLUS MORE and dont forget most diet pills have NOT had ANY long term testing done on them so what are the long term side affects? perhaps gallbladder disease kidney disease problems with your thyroid heart disease just to name a few and no one said losing weight is easy for anyone because it isnt losing weight isnt just about getting skinny it is about being healthier and diet pills wont make you healthier the only pro is that yeah you can sometimes lose the weight fast if you take pills but you can lose weight faster if you use meth would you do that to your body just to lose weight faster than if you eat less and healthier food and got off your butt and exercised?

All I can hear in your statement is cop outs and excuses. Who cares HOW LONG it takes if you're getting healthy. You can be "skinny" and unhealthy, you can be "fat" and healthy (think powerlifters). Remember this is a life long journey, not a 2 week get it done and forget it goal.

| Re: Diet Pills? Well do you know how it feels if people laugh about you? Or what kind of feeling it is when people give you ugly names? I can tell you that this is definitely not nice. And very frustrating. How can you lose weight if people treat you like this? Therefore I think a diet pill good me a good start. Don't you know what I mean? To help people to start and to be motivated. To find out that losing weight is possible. |
