Re: diet patches

Do you have a link you can post? I'd be VERY hesitant to waste your money on it. Ebay has a lot of scammy products on there, be careful.

If you up your protein intake that might help you a bit with feeling full longer, as will trying lower glycemic carbs which take longer to process.

Re: diet patches

INGREDIENTS:

Fucus Vesiculosus Extract: 10mg
Burns fat. An extract of sea kelp, has been used as a homeopathic remedy for over 100 years to speed up the metabolic rate and break down fatty tissues. (It burns up calories faster). This has been widely researched and accepted by the UK Medicines Control Agency (MCA) as a suitable active ingredient for oral administration in herbal medicines, with a medical claim for the treatment of obesity.

5 HTP: 10mg
During dieting, serum tryptophan levels and CNS serotonin levels drop dramatically. These low serotonin levels in obese patients have been associated with carbohydrate cravings and resultant binge eating. 5-HTP can help prevent this dieting-associated decline in serotonin, thus enhancing weight loss. Three clinical trials in obese patients have demonstrated decreased food intake and subsequent weight loss with 5-HTP supplementation.

Guarana: 8mg
Botanical name of Guarana is Paullinia cupana. The origin habitat of Guarana is the Amazon Region. Stimulates and balances your metabolism to stabalize weight. Was original used by Amazonian Indians as a stimulant and a treatment for stress.

Zinc Pyruvate: 3mg
Pyruvate is really a combination of highly unstable pyruvic acid and other substances like calcium, sodium or potassium, added to stabilize pyruvic acid. This new compound is used to enhance fat burning, boost endurance, increase lean muscle mass, decrease blood glucose and lower blood cholesterol.

Yerba Mate: 2mg
A powerful appetite suppressant from South America.
An evergreen member of the Holly family, it grows wild in Argentina, Chile, Peru, and Brazil, but is most abundant in Paraguay, where it is cultivated. In 1964 one group of investigators from the Pasteur Institute and the Paris Scientific Society concluded that Yerba Mate contains nearly all of the vitamins necessary to sustain life. Yerba Mate is often used as a staple food, sometimes substituting for such important foods as bread and vegetables. It easily eliminates the sensation of hunger and can impart as much invigoration as a full meal, according to the well-known Chilean herbalists J. Zin and R. Weiss.

Lecithin: 2mg
Helps to breakdown fats/cholesterol and balance body weight.
Contains Choline & Inositol which are essential for the breakdown of fats and cholesterol. It helps prevent arterial congestion and distribute bodyweight, increase immunity to virus infections, cleans the liver and purifies the kidneys.

Flaxseed Oil: 1mg
Keeps a balance of essential fatty acids for healthier dieting.
Despite all the concern about fat in our diet, the body does require fat to function. The problem is that most people are getting the wrong kinds of fats in their diet and are lacking the so-called “good” fats in their diets. The human body cannot function properly without two polyunsaturated fats - linoleic and alpha-linolenic acid. These fatty acids, which are found in Flaxseed Oil are essential to normal cell structure and body function.

L-Carnitine: 1mg
Increases the bodies fat burning capabilities.
Facilitates the burning of fat for energy by making it possible for the long chain fatty acids it transports to enter the cell. If the fatty acids cannot reach the mitochondria where they are transformed to cellular energy, it stands to reason they are going to be deposited in places where the body will suffer from their presence, as happens in fatty liver disease, fatty build-up in the heart, and obesity, where fatty build-up occurs in the muscles.

Zinc Citrate: 1mg
An essential mineral often lost when losing weight.
Zinc is required for many functions in the body, including growth, taste, smell, nucleic acid synthesis, keratin metabolism, sexual development, bone/joint metabolism, wound healing, brain development, nerve function and behavior, lipid and carbohydrate metabolism.

Sweet Vannilla Aroma:
Scientists have recently discovered that the scent of vanilla literally fools the brain into thinking it’s not hungry! At St. George’s Hospital in London, 300 overweight people were divided into three groups who wore either a vanilla-scented skin patch, a lemon-scented patch or no patch at all for four weeks. The results: Those who wore the vanilla patch showed a huge decrease in appetite and had 50% fewer cravings for chocolate and other high-calorie sweets. And they lost an average of 4 1/2 to 5 pounds with no effort at all.

Re: diet patches

As mentioned, l-carnitine is sometimes used with l-ornithine as a GH releaser. This is sometimes used by bodybuilders. It wouldn't be the first time someone has used amino acids to lose weight. A lot of people have reported (mis)using Dr. Tyler Parr's formula to lose weight on other forums.

also, odd amount of fucus, given that it isn't the liquid concentration.
