Question African mango - scam or success? Please advise me...

    African Mango Scam or Success?

After reading some trusted reviews, I decided to try it out for myself to see if this product was a scam or not. I was losing roughly 2lbs a month on average before taking it, and without any other changes, my weight loss was now averaging close to 7lbs a month. That's right; I have been losing 1lb more per week since taking this pill! My conclusion? It is not a scam.

I thought I would share some of the reviews I read before making the decision to try it:

Tanya Edwards, MD, M.Ed, and the Director of the Center for Integrative Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic, gave her own personal review:

It's a magic bullet! Taking only half the recommended dose I lost 7lbs in the first month making no changes to my lifestyle!

Taking 150 mg of this extract two times a day reduces weight and inches around the waist.

In a month long study performed on 40 people back in 2005 with an average age of 42.....28 of the 40 people were given over 3 grams of African Mango and the other 12 a placebo, 30 minutes before meals. Everyone ate 1800 calories per day as part of a low fat diet, and those who took African Mango lost about 5 1/2% percent of their body weight and saw a 4 point drop in systolic blood pressure, where as those who took the placebo lost only 1% of their body weight in the same time frame.

In 2009, in another study, more than 100 overweight people were involved in a 10 week study where some took 350mg of the pill, while others took a placebo. Those who took the extract lost more pounds, size and fat than the placebo and saw on average a 28 pound weight loss over the 10 week study vs. only 1 pound weight loss for the placebo group. Users of the pill also saw drops in LDL and total cholesterol, blood glucose and C reactive protein.

While there have only been a handful of studies done to date, I took comfort in the above reviews that it isn't a scam, but the real deal. I haven't been disappointed.

Question African mango - scam or success? Please advise me...

    Hi guys

Was wondering if any of you out there could help me. I came across this miracle pill, which seems to have a great effect, stimulating the metabolism and promoting weight loss.

I don't love the idea of taking pills just because I'm scared of what's in them. I wouldn't like to ruin my body through stuffing it with unhealthy drugs that interfere with my hormones...

But it seems to me that this sounds pretty natural.

Does anyone have any experience with this pill? Could taking it have any harmful effects? Does it really melt the pounds off? And would taking the actual mango in its original natural form produce the same effect?

    Would really appreciate a response.

    Thanks!

I've read quite a bit about whether African Mango is a scam are not. There aren't a ton of studies out there just yet, so only time will tell. The best way to see if African Mango is a scam or not is to give it a try.

Apparently african mango is a fruit supplement, that is supposed to have an effect on your metabolism. Some people say they lost weight without changing a thing. I'm watching for people I actually know, and there is one who says she has lost some. I've tried to get it to try it myself, because it's cheap, but the store I went to is out of it because it's the latest fad. Some say they lost a few pounds and then plateaued, and if it would just boost my metabolism a little bit to lose a few more pounds, then I'd be glad of it.

well, there are certain things that do increase your fat burning, through different means, such as green tea. some of the people who are losing some with this have not changed their diets or exercise. and i'm all for eating healthy and exercising. some people who take supplements don't do that but some do. so if that's all it took to get skinny, well, guess what, i'd be vanishing!!!!!

i just think at least the african mango is cheaper than alot of other things, like even some thermogenic fat burners, and it sounds like it's nutrients that we don't see alot of here. so, i'm going to try it soon.

I spent 6 months drinking green tea...without changing anything else...and didn't lose an ounce...so it's not 'just' that easy.

    Real. Nothing bottled.

There was no handy food source at the office I was working a 6 month contract at. So we brought our lunches and made our own coffee/tea.

I like green tea. So I tried it for the 6 months I worked. I still like it.

Green tea is an appetite suppressant no doubt, but in my opinion the difference is so minimal that it's hard to quantify. To me it's one of those nice add ons that can only help, not hurt, but definitely not an end all to curbing an entire appetite if you know what I mean, and like you said, may not even be noticed.
